Livestock Nutrition Consultant Internship -Summer 2009

Complete Feed Service (CFS) offers an exciting opportunity for current college students and recent college graduates/college seniors to gain experience working in the professional livestock feed industry. We are currently seeking energetic, highly motivated individuals for our internship program to gain valuable knowledge and insight into the feed industry.  

Strong candidates will posses:  

• A strong background in the livestock industry
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft word, power point, and excel
• Individual must be highly motivated, organized, a self starter and team player.  
• Individual majoring in Animal or Dairy science, Ag business, marketing, or communications a bonus

Candidate Responsibilities:  

• Work with nutrition staff to effectively promote company with sales of products and services
• Develop and implement a special project throughout the summer

• Interact with current and potential customers to maximize sales opportunities 
• Work collaboratively with others to solve complex problems customers may have
• Represent company at local functions: fairs, farm shows, business and training seminars
• Learn overview of livestock diet formulation for customers to ensure their livestock reaches optimal performance and quality

Locations: 

Candidate will work out of the Sharon, WI office, which is located within an hour of Milwaukee, Madison, Janesville, and Rockford, IL.
