L & D Sales Trainer:  Minneapolis, MN Role Purpose: Provide direction to enhance the culture to achieve the Syngenta Purpose and ensure fulfillment of the Syngenta values through a consistent approach to learning opportunities across NAFTA sales organization. Accountabilities: To create a learning environment throughout the NAFTA sales organization that encourages people to develop themselves and each other.
  • This position will focus on organizing and facilitating training for our Seeds Division field sales force which will raise levels of competence and commitment.
  • Design, development, organize and facilitate all sales training programs for field sales force in Syngenta Seeds utilizing appropriate internal and external resources.
Knowledge, experience & capabilities: Critical Knowledge: Bachelor's Degree (Master's Preferred) with a minimum of 2 years sales experience Knowledge of the Sales Processes; 3-5 years Training and Organizational Development Experience desired; 1-2 Years People Management Experience desired; Facilitation of Key Organizational Teams, Background and Experience with External O.D. Resources. Critical Skills: Experience in designing, developing and implementing Organizational Learning, experienced in assessing Training and O.D. Needs, Customer Focus, Presentation Mastery, Action Oriented, Integrity and Trust, Interpersonal Savvy & Self Awareness, Communication (i.e., listening and communicating in appropriate style), Innovative and Creative, Strategic Thinking, Ability to Adapt in All Situations, Approachability, Composure. Functional and Technical Skills: Motivating Others, Facilitation, and Significant proficiency in redirecting individuals behavior and leading people through change.
