Executive VP - North American Limousin Foundation
The North American Limousin Foundation (NALF) is seeking candidates for the position of executive vice president (EVP) – the primary leadership position for the association. Primary responsibilities include carrying out the policies of the board of directors; financial management; strategic planning; oversight of the breed and hybrid registry; staffing; interaction with members and associates; and execution of programs associated with animal performance, marketing and breed promotion, member and commercial producer communications, and various member services. Qualifications include a well-rounded background in business and personnel management, strong written and oral communication and consensus-building skills, and a working knowledge of the beef seedstock and commercial cattle business. The position is headquartered in Centennial, Colorado. A complete position description is available upon request.

Responsible to the President and CEO for the overall business management and direction of a 34 million bushel, 8 location Grain Division. Manage the activities of 14 direct reports and 37 indirect reports. Work with the Grain Operations Manager, Grain Merchandising Manager, and all elevator managers to effectively manage the procurement, storage, and selling of grain. Develop and maintain excellent relationships with growers to increase the business level and success of the cooperative. Plan a budget for approval and then execute that plan to achieve overall volume and profit objectives. Work with the Grain Operations Manager to plan and recommend capital improvement projects to the President and CEO. Assure the safe, secure operation of the cooperative's multi-million bushel grain storage and handling systems.
Company Highlights Education/Job Experience B.A. or B.S. in Agriculture Business, Business or related field. 7-10 years of progressively more responsible jobs in the grain or related industry. Experienced in multi-site management, with an excellent understanding of grain accounting. Proficient in use of grain software systems (AgVantage preferred). Proven success in the motivation, management and development of subordinates, and a good working knowledge of grain merchandising.
