The college invites applications for a full-time unlimited Agriculture Instructor to begin July 27, 2009. We are looking for a candidate with a strong livestock background and agribusiness experience. Courses may include Animal Science, Animal Nutrition, Beef Management, Swine Management, Introduction to Agbusiness, and Credit and Finance.
Minimum Qualifications: Must have a minimum of two-years post-secondary education appropriate to credential requested, 6000 hours of occupational experience and one year work experience shall be within the last five years. A Bachelor degree in agricultural education, animal science, agricultural economics or technical agriculture and 4000 hours of occupational experience is preferred.

Stellar Internship - Animal Ag Alliance
2009 SUMMER INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY
The Animal Agriculture Alliance has an opening for a summer 2009 internship position. The ideal candidate will possess strong communications and writing skills. Additional requirements include a strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, the ability to multitask and the willingness to work as a team player.
Areas of work will include but may not be limited to writing, research, special project assignments and coordination, database management, conference participation, and assisting the Alliance staff as needed. Some weekend work and travel may be required.
The Alliance is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that serves as a partnership of individuals, companies and associations that have joined together to help consumers better understand the role animal agriculture plays in providing a safe, abundant food supply to the world. The Alliance provides a mechanism for those involved in animal agriculture and the food industries to speak with one voice to ensure consistent, accurate messages are communicated to the public.
The Alliance’s mission is to communicate the important role of modern animal agriculture to our nation’s economy, productivity, vitality, security and that animal well-being is central to producing safe, high-quality, affordable food and other products essential to our daily lives. Our role is to connect, educate & protect, and in carrying out our mission, the Alliance undertakes activities to focus on bringing truthful, science-based information to consumers so the role of animal agriculture in feeding the world is better understood and appreciated.
Compensation: $1,400/month gross; course credit available too, depending upon university requirements
