The North American Limousin Foundation (NALF) is seeking candidates for the position of executive vice president (EVP) – the primary leadership position for the association. Primary responsibilities include carrying out the policies of the board of directors; financial management; strategic planning; oversight of the breed and hybrid registry; staffing; interaction with members and associates; and execution of programs associated with animal performance, marketing and breed promotion, member and commercial producer communications, and various member services. Qualifications include a well-rounded background in business and personnel management, strong written and oral communication and consensus-building skills, and a working knowledge of the beef seedstock and commercial cattle business. Accounting Assistant – Boulder, CO - 944
Role Purpose / Accountabilities–
Performs a variety of complex analytical and administrative functions related to Logistics and Transportation. Manual and automated systems will be utilized to create and maintain basic reporting and business analyses. Specific duties will include the following: Logistics Assistant • Proof of Deliveries o Obtaining POD's from Fed Ex, AWB and trucking shipments. • Revenue Recognition o Obtaining POD's and working within the system to generate AP invoices for SFI and match with AR invoices for payment to vendors. • Shipment tracking o Daily tracking of international and domestic shipment lanes • Shipping notifications o Advanced Shipping Notifications o Daily updates to customer service • Assisting in analytical functions o Gathering resources for analyses o Creating spreadsheets as directed • Back up resources to Director of Logistics o Having overall knowledge of logistics and distribution of SFI o Primary contact in office for Logistics o Communication between customers, vendors, Logistics, farms, and customer service Accounts Payable • A/P Responsibilities o Code incoming invoices for proper G/L classification o Obtain authorization based on company policy for A/P invoices o Matching invoices with purchase orders when purchases orders are utilized o Verify accuracy of invoices for pricing, quantities, etc. o Manual input of invoices into accounting system, currently AccPac to be SAP in the future o Process check runs • Accounting o Assist with period end close
Knowledge, experience & capabilities –
• Bachelor's degree with a concentration in accounting or business is encouraged. • Accounting experience is required. • Ability to generate spreadsheets and communicate analytical work. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus. • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and deadlines. • Ability to work independently. • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required), SAP preferred.

Research Technican – LaSalle, CO
Role Purpose –
The purpose of the Research Technician is to support local Product Development Scientists in their efforts to create superior products and support the Station Manager's targeted goals for precision, accuracy and efficiency in site operations.
Accountabilities –
Functioning as an integral member of a team responsible for packaging, planting, cultivating, stand counting and harvesting yield trials, breeding nurseries and isolation topcrosses. • Supporting efforts to maintain integrity of seed Inventory, packaging, field layout, pollinating, shelling and data collection. • Performing all tasks and behaving in a manner compliant with and in support of all safety related company policies and practices, including completing all required Company training courses and attending local safety meetings. • Overseeing tasks completed by third party labor to achieve desired results. • Effectively communicating regularly with peers and supervisors regarding the status of projects and work activities.
Knowledge, experience & capabilities –
Critical knowledge:
A two-year degree in an ag related discipline and/or relevant experience • A working knowledge of farming equipment. • A valid drivers license and the ability to obtain a class A CDL is critical. • A basic understanding of the difference between hybrids and inbreds is desirable. • Clear understanding of the practices and procedures that affect trial data precision and accuracy. • Understand and use modern agronomic practices.
Critical experience:
Experience in the operation, adjustment, maintenance of and ability to do minor repairs on various plot equipment, including planter, tractor, cultivator, sprayer, combine, truck and trailer is desirable.
Critical technical, professional and personal capabilities:
Ability to use MS Office, especially Word and Excel, and other standard software. • Ability to use proprietary systems (SPIRIT) for label printing and inventory management. • Ability and motivation to learn new technologies.
