This position is responsible for the sales and management of accounts in their territory, including recruiting and managing seed dealers. This person will report directly to the President of the company and will be responsible for growing the territory, as well as maintaining existing accounts. This company primarily sells directly to customers, but this person will also maintain some farmer dealer accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales aptitude and ability to work autonomously. A background in ag retail, ag sales, industrial sales or related industry would be preferred. Most importantly, this company is looking for someone that can aggressively pursue new business. Compensation is competitive, and includes a car allowance, gas card, computer, cell phone and more. Illinois Pork Producers Seek Youth Ambassador Deadline to apply is December 31st The Illinois Pork Producers Association is seeking youth ages 18-23 to serve as the 2009 Illinois Pork Ambassador/Intern. The purpose of the Illinois Pork Ambassador/Intern Program is to provide an opportunity for a young person to serve for one year as the official youth representative of the Illinois Pork Producers Association and to work as a part of the IPPA staff during the summer. The duties of the Pork Ambassador will include: County Ambassador Program Producer Education & Checkoff Certification programs Birthing Center at IL State Fair Promotion/Consumer Information Presenting at numerous Summer Ag Institutes Applicants must be between 18 and 23 years old and exhibit strong communication and leadership skills. They must also be a member of the Illinois Pork Producers Association and have a genuine interest in the pork industry. The Illinois Pork Ambassador will be asked to work at least 35-40 hours per week during the summer and will be compensated with a $500/month living stipend and a combined scholarship of $4,500 from IPPA and the National Pork Board after successfully completing the internship. Customer Care Representative – Lisle, IL - 922

Role Purpose – 

To provide excellent customer service and support to the brokerage team, and to sales representatives and vendors that handle brokerage products in the Flowers industry.

Accountabilities – 

Responsible for providing customer service to Syngenta Sales reps as they require entry of orders, and also work with vendors to determine product availability. Review quotes and process orders. • Manage individual time to effectively handle and prioritize multiple inbound and outbound calls, solve customer issues, and complete daily activities. • Manage orders from start to finish including editing orders, order entry, sourcing product, verifying acknowledgements, vendor confirmation, status checks, and order changes. • Process order acknowledgments. • Follow all SAP and Customer Care procedures as outlined by Team Leads and Customer Care Manager (CCM). • Provide accurate and complete documentation on all issues so anyone can fill in if necessary. • Provide recommendations for problem resolution. • Strive for the highest internal and external customer satisfaction at all times. • Communicate issues to Lead CCR and/or CCM as needed. • Participate in special projects as required by Lead CCR or CCM. • Provide back up for product group members on a regular basis, provide back up in other areas as requested. • Willingly work additional hours occasionally during the busy season, or complete tasks outside of the job description as the yearly business cycle dictates
