Job Description:       

Operations include grain, feed and agronomy marketing. Position will be responsible for supervising 11 employees.

Responsibilities: · Supervise all operational and business aspects of the branch location. · Supervise location employees, including training, coaching and annual performance reviews. · Implement housekeeping, maintenance and identification programs for the facility and assigned vehicles/equipment · Coordinate manpower requirements in cooperation with locations and departments. · Communicate to management the labor and equipment needs, repair and facility improvement requests. · Observe and enforce all company policies. · Communicate with and maintain good relationships with customers, resolving complaints quickly, fairly and within company policies.

 

Company Highlights:           

Full service cooperative with grain handling of 3.4 million bushel, 6,000 ton of dry fertilizer, 625 dry fertilizer, 390 ton of NH3 and 130,000 ton of feed. This location has 25 full time employees.

 

Education/Job Experience:

Candidates must have a full working knowledge in feed, agronomy, energy and grain. Candidates must have leadership skills and excellent communication skills. Organizational skills and employee development and employee communication skills are important. Good financial management skills are required. Preferred candidates will have three to five years of successful agricultural management experience, preferably in location management.
