Ag Media Sales Rep

Agricultural Media Sales Representative

Job Description:

The World Wide Ag Network has an immediate opening for an Agricultural Media Sales Representative.  We are looking for a gregarious, self-motivated individual with experience in ag media sales - especially in electronic media.  If you meet the following qualifications, we'd love to hear from you...

Qualifications: Candidates should be good with people, articulate, and possess excellent communcations skills in person, on the telephone, and via internet channels.

Candidates should be familiar with production agriculture and its related products, and should have experience working with regional and national advertising agencies - preferably those who represent ag related corporate clients.

The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of internet and radio advertising and programming terminology, formats, and delivery methods, and must be proficient in Microsoft Office software products such as Word, Outlook, and Excel.  Familiarity with graphics design, audio studio work, HTML programming, and content management systems will also be a plus, but are not required to fill this position.

Responsibilities: The successful candidate will contact businesses, organizations, ad agencies, and PR firms in order to market available ad inventory and promotional services available through the World Wide Ag Network.  As our Media Sales Representative, you will report directly to management and file regular updates on sales activity.

Education Requirements: Educational degrees are a great asset, but sometimes don't reflect on the actual work ethic of an individual so you may be surprised to find that we don't put as much emphasis on them as most companies.  We are more interested in the character, attitude, and integrity of an individual, his/her previous work experience, willingness to work as a part of a team, and the ability to get the job done.

Compensation: Compensation will be on a commission basis with no cap so their is no limit to income potential.  Commission percentage will be determined by experience and performance.

Good Stuff: Here's the best part... There is no need to relocate!  You will be able to work from your current home or office and save those fuel costs.  In fact, we encourage it!  (Isn't technology great!)  You are required, however, to have internet access, with broadband access highly preferred.

You will be able to work on your own schedule, but keep in mind that the people you need to contact will likely be working regular business hours and they could be located in any time zone in North America.

You will find the World Wide Ag Network has a very friendly environment where we treat our associates with the respect they deserve.  We genuinely care about the people we work with and consider them to be a part of our extended family.

And very importantly, we welcome new ideas from our associates, actively seek their input, and encourage them to be an integral part of our development process.

Let us know about you: If this position sounds like something you would be interested in, please send us an email with a resumé or detailed description of your background, qualifications, and past work experience as well as three references from non-relatives.  Be sure to include your name, address, daytime and/or nighttime phone number where we can reach you, along with your email address.

Email your information to jobs@worldwideag.net

Thanks.  We look forward to hearing from you... and Good Luck!
