Customer Representative I, II, III or Senior – Greensboro, NC - 1246
Role Purpose –
• Ability to effectively manage customer inquiries and communication including product order entry and shipping status and management.
• Demonstrates extensive knowledge of sales programs and policies.
• Proactively delivers a superior level of customer service to customers within the guidelines defined by the business
Accountabilities –
• Supports customer service team in achieving targeted goals for the business group.
• Exhibits a thorough understanding of Syngenta’s customers’ organizations.
• Participation on and contribution to external departmental teams.
• Minimal supervision in attending field/sales meetings and customer visits.
• Assist in outbound marketing campaigns.
• Assist in planning and development of outbound campaigns
Knowledge, Experience & Capabilities
Critical knowledge:
• Understanding of general agronomic practices and product positioning in marketplace
• Understanding of and ability to effectively use business tools (e.g. Pivotal, K2G, AgBiz, SAP, etc.)
• Consults with others as new or difficult situations arise. Capable of handling conflict and identifying resolution. Ensures policy and procedure compliance at the operational level.
• General understanding of Crop Protection industry
• Flexibility to understand and accept additional responsibilities within other CC BU Teams as business changes dictate.
Critical experience:
• Handles routine situations on own and proposes solutions for solving complex situations
• Leads by example - Interpersonal awareness, positive attitude
• Develop and implements tactics with minimal supervision.
• Minimum of a Bachelors degree is preferred.
Critical technical, professional and personal capabilities:
• Appropriate knowledge of and ability to engage internal processes and functions to fulfill customer inquiry, order and delivery requirements. (Transportation, Planning, Distribution, Technical, etc.)
• Implements ideas and suggestions to team
Additional Information

• Travel requirements minimal (approximately 5%)
