Brand Manager - Cattle - Missouri

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in agriculture or marketing or related field

  • MBA, greater than 5-years' experience in cattle marketing groups is desirable

  • Minimum of 5 years animal health sales, previous product management experience helpful

  • Strong knowledge of the cattle industry and markets

  • Strong communication skills (oral, written, presentation)

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, update and implement marketing plans for the assigned products---Position Benefits and Features; Advertising and Promotion campaigns; Brand Management

  • Project Management---Manage assigned projects for best outcome to the desired benefits; Interact with the cattle team in an effort to determine best positioning of projects

  • Forecasting of all assigned products---Develop and maintain a forecasting system for the assigned product portfolio

  • Sales training and education---Coordinate product training and education of the sales force to reinforce key benefits and features of our products in support of our strategic positioning

  • Customer Value Management---Initiate and implement strategies and tactics through C-Global for assigned products; Measure and monitor results

  • Develop programs and activities to support marketing initiatives, including participating with the cattle sales team at field events

  • Work directly with professional service to design marketing sales support tools

  • Interact with other departments within Boehringer Ingelheim to ensure proper communication of cattle team's message and adhere to SOP's

  • Utilize market research for planning and executing strategies

  • Drive and work with sales team in improving/growing customer databases
