Location: South Central Minnesota Oversee vendor relationships and programs in the sales area with increased focus on growing the overall sales of the Energy department. Responsible for inventory levels for retail and bulk plants along with risk managing fuel and LP contracts. Develop and lead the implementation of strategic marketing plans as to enhance market share in the Energy sales area Lead efforts in developing and implementing an outstanding customer service program that will enhance our ability to serve our customers across all product areas with special emphasis on energy. Make product and services recommendations to customers that will result in more profitable sales and margins of the energy product lines. Communicates with customers and employees in a manner that will create support and loyalty for United Farmers Cooperative. Education/Job Experience Education: • Post high school training at the college or vocational level • Sales, management training preferred • Experience may be substituted for education Experience: • Previous energy sales experience desirable • Previous supervisory experience desirable • Good people skills necessary • Strong written and verbal skills necessary • Computer skills desirable • Ag background a plus
