The Public Relations Specialist is responsible for leading the Public Relations efforts of one of AdFarm's leading crop production industry clients as well as working together with the AdFarm Public Relations Team on other initiatives. The Public Relations Specialist will work within a multidisciplinary team of agency professionals sharing a goal of successfully achieving client satisfaction, business unit profitability, team functionality and performance. Requirements To become an AdFarmer, the candidate will have: Public Relations experience with 3-7 years in media relations, event management, and strategic planning. Proven track record of excellence and experience in agricultural marketing communications and/or print/broadcast agricultural communications. Proven as an effective project manager - preferably in an agency. A college diploma or University degree in public relations, communications or a related field. A deep understanding of the agricultural media (print, broadcast, industry events/tradeshows, interactive, internet etc) and marketing needs of the agricultural industry. Strong news and commercial writing skills; with excellent attention to detail. An inquisitive mind, ability to take direction, good interpersonal and communication skills. The ideal AdFarmer will have the ability to be highly organized and self motivated, excellent time-management skills and the ability to multi-task. And last but not least, we need someone who works and plays well with others, with an ability and desire to work within a team and contribute towards one.
