Sr Relationship Manager/Lead Relationship Manager, Omaha, NE

Manages significant account relationships with existing and prospective customers in assigned market. May manage the overall profitability and credit quality of a large and complex loan portfolio and may recommend credit decisions as appropriate. Maximizes credit and financial services provided to the customer to enhance the bank's profitability goals. Develops and implements marketing and account servicing plans to capitalize on marketing opportunities within assigned segment. May develop and support the division's account management responsibilities. Works independently to develop new business and manage existing portfolio. Mentors and provides guidance to junior level staff.  Knowledge and Skills:  Bachelor's degree in business or finance, and 10-15 years experience with 1-5 years management, preferably in commercial banking, financial services industry or agriculture. Master's or MBA preferred. Experience in negotiating acceptable structures on large, complex credits. Expert knowledge of credit and financing alternatives. Extensive knowledge of non-recourse and structured financing techniques. Advanced knowledge of technical standards, industry trends, technology, and regional/national regulatory requirements. Advanced knowledge of competitive environment and practices in customer's industry. Broad knowledge of industries served as well as products and services similar to those offered by CoBank. Familiarity with inter-creditor agreements, syndications and loan participations. Knowledge of cross-marketing. Ability to analyze all components on standard credits. Knowledge of technical standards in target industry. Knowledge of regional and national regulatory requirements.  Other Requirements:  Experience building and maintaining effective working relationships with external contacts.
